Alžběta Wolfová is a PhD student of Anthropology at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University in Prague. She completed her Master`s in Anthrpology at the same institution and based on her thesis which is an ethnographic study of one Ayurvedic centre in the Czech Republic she has published a paper in Czech Social Sciences` journal entitled ‘How the Ayurveda is enacted’. In her doctoral research she concentrates on different levels of Ayurveda’s enactment within one Ayurvedic community. Her attempt is to determine the way it is being accommodated in this specific post-socialist setting, examining closely construction of authenticity, expertise and safety.
