Caroline Vander Stichele teaches at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She holds a PhD in Religious Studies from the KU Leuven (Belgium) and a Master Contemporary Asian Studies from the University of Amsterdam. Her research and publications focus on Early Christian literature, religion and film, and yoga studies. She is currently doing research on the yoga pioneers in Flanders (Belgium).
