Denise Lombardi completed her undergraduated studies in Education at Catholic University in Milan. She specialized in anthropological studies and received her master’s degree in Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences at Milano Bicocca University. In 2016 she received her Ph.D in Anthropology of Religion at l’Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (Sorbonne) in Paris. Her research concerns contemporary spiritual practices with special attention to New Shamanism and healing rituals in western societies. She researched in France, Italy and Mexico and her results were published by CNRS Editions Paris and in Mexico. Her current anayisis focuses on relational dynamics within new therapeutic/healing forms both in France and in Italy.
