Sveinn Guðmundsson is an anthropologist researching complementary and alternative medicine as well as the influence of spiritualism and the New Age movement in Iceland. He has done research among complementary and alternative therapy practitioners, spiritualist groups and health professionals within the health care system in Iceland who are implementing complementary and alternative therapies into their practice.
